Paul Jaboulet Aine 'La Chapelle' Hermitage 2006

Paul Jaboulet is one of the largest landowners in Hermitage, with nearly 22 hectares planted to Syrah, including key parcels in Le Meal and Bessards. La Chapelle, a trademarked name, is made from grapes sourced from top sites like Bessards, Le Meal, Greffieux, and Rocoules. The wine is 100% destemmed, fermented parcel by parcel, and aged in varying amounts of new French oak. Full-bodied and concentrated, it features expressive black fruit and earthy, iron aromas. La Chapelle can age for decades, with the best vintages lasting 30-40 years.
