Catena Zapata’s Adrianna Vineyard, named for Nicolás Catena’s youngest daughter, is a pinnacle of Mendoza winemaking, located nearly 5,000 feet above sea level. This 1.4-hectare plot, rich in ancient limestone and marine deposits, supports vine roots with nutrient-absorbing rhizobacteria, known as mundus bacillus terrae or "elegant microbes of the earth." These unique soils give rise to wines of remarkable elegance, depth, and expression, honoring the Catena family's second century of winemaking heritage.
