Solaia 2000

Solaia is the flagship estate wine of the Antinori family and one of the benchmark Super Tuscans, blending Cabernet Sauvignon with Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc from a single hillside vineyard in Tuscany. The 2000 vintage now carries a quarter-century of bottle age, and a wine of this pedigree at full maturity is a rare thing to find. Expect tobacco, cedar, dried cherry, and warm spice, with softened tannins and a long, savoury finish.
