Pavillon Rouge Du Chateau Margaux 2016

Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux, the estate's second wine since 1908, resumed production in 1977 under André Mentzelopoulos to improve the quality of the first wine. Today, a third of the harvest goes into the first wine, with 30% in Pavillon Rouge. While less complex, it shares similar flavors and balance, and while ready to drink earlier, it can age for 30-40 years.
