Château Margaux, built in the early 1800s, is renowned for its exceptional wines. After a period of inconsistency, the estate flourished under winemaker Paul Pontallier. With 82 hectares of vineyards, mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (75%), Merlot (20%), and small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, Château Margaux produces around 30,000 cases annually, with the First Wine accounting for 35%.
