Les Forts de Latour 2018

Château Latour, located in Pauillac on Bordeaux's Left Bank, is a renowned First Growth estate with 92 hectares of vines spread across 138 plots, including 47 hectares in the prestigious 'L'Enclos'. The estate’s clay and gravel soils produce highly concentrated, textural Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant reds, complemented by Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. Certified organic since 2018 and using biodynamic practices, the estate also produces celebrated reds like Les Forts de Latour and Pauillac de Latour. The 2018 second wine showcases intense dark fruit, licorice, earthy notes, and aromatic incense, with velvety tannins. Approachable yet structured, it will soften with aging.
