Figeac 2021

Château Figeac, a premier Saint-Émilion estate, is known for its unusually high Cabernet content, giving its wines a Médoc-like character. The 54-hectare vineyard, located near Cheval Blanc, was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé A in 2022. The 2021 vintage is a classic, aromatic Figeac: fragrant blackcurrant, red cherry, violet, and cedar with the estate's signature graphite minerality. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows fine-grained tannins, bright acidity, and remarkable freshness — an elegant, precise wine that will reward a decade or more in the cellar.
