Figeac 2016

Château Figeac, a premier St. Emilion estate, is known for its high Cabernet content, giving its wines a Médoc-like character. The 54-hectare vineyard, located near Cheval Blanc, was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé A in 2022. The 2016 vintage offers aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, iris, cigar wrapper, and pencil shavings. On the palate, it has a medium to full body with concentrated flavors, supported by dusty tannins and lively acidity, finishing with a broad, mineral note.
