Ornellaia, founded in 1981 near Bolgheri, is one of the founding estates of the Super Tuscan movement, crafting a Cabernet-led blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot from vineyards shaped by a Mediterranean climate and coastal terroir. The 2022 vintage shows deep ruby colour with aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, sage, and warm spice, leading to a full-bodied, richly structured palate with dense, polished tannins and a long, persistent finish. Presented here in a 1.5-litre Magnum, ideal for extended aging and special-occasion service.
