La Spinetta Timorasso Derthona 2024

Founded in 1977 by the Rivetti family, La Spinetta has become one of Italy's most respected wineries, celebrated for its uncompromising approach to quality and expression of terroir. While renowned for its Barbaresco and Barolo, the estate also champions native Piedmontese varieties, reviving historic grapes and showcasing the diversity of the region.

La Spinetta "Derthona" Timorasso is crafted from the ancient indigenous Timorasso grape, grown in the Colli Tortonesi DOC of southeastern Piedmont. Fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel with extended lees contact, the wine preserves the grape's remarkable freshness and purity. Aromas of orange blossom, citrus, hazelnut, and flint lead to a rich, textured palate balanced by vibrant acidity and pronounced minerality. A distinctive white wine with exceptional ageing potential.
