Solaia 2017

Solaia, a 50-acre vineyard at the Tignanello estate, was first produced by the Antinori family in 1978. Initially a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc, it evolved with the introduction of Sangiovese. Produced only in exceptional years, Solaia 2017 has a deep ruby red color and an impressive bouquet of ripe dark fruit, blackberries, black currants, fresh mint, and myrtle. Spicy notes of white pepper, cinnamon, and cocoa complement the rich, velvety palate, with vibrant tannins leading to a long, persistent finish.
