Henri Giraud Blanc de Craie

Cuvée Blanc de Craie from the House of Henri Giraud is a 100% Chardonnay champagne, crafted from chalky soils of the Montagne de Reims. It blends 55% from the Aÿ terroir and 45% from Louvois, and undergoes 6 months of vat fermentation followed by 6 months in small oak barrels from the Argonne forest, then aged for 3 years in the cellars. This champagne embodies purity and minerality, with an expressive nose of citrus fruits like Menton lemon, Florida pink grapefruit, and pineapple, followed by a hint of lychee. The palate is creamy, supple, and fresh—an exceptional Blanc de Blancs with remarkable mineral clarity.
