Figeac 2013

Château Figeac, located in the north-west of St. Emilion, is renowned for its high Cabernet content, making its wine one of the most Médoc-like in the appellation. The estate's 54 hectares of vineyards, situated on gravelly topsoil over a flinty, iron-rich subsoil, adjoin those of Cheval Blanc. In 2022, Figeac was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé A, the highest classification in St. Emilion. The 2013 vintage of Figeac is a deep purple-red with violet hues. Its expressive nose offers blackberries, blackcurrants, and toasted oak aromas, with graphite and spices. The palate delivers excellent length, complex flavors, and well-balanced tannins.
