Chateau D'Yquem 2006

Château d'Yquem is the epitome of fine sweet wine, crafted from 80% Semillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc grown in Sauternes. Only grapes affected by noble rot are harvested, producing exceptionally concentrated wine with yields so low each vine creates just one glass. Fermented in new oak, this wine matures for up to three years before release. Young vintages reveal a rich bouquet of apricot, mandarin, and vanilla, while older ones offer complex notes of dried fruit, spice, and flowers.
