Almaviva 2016

Almaviva, a remarkable Franco-Chilean wine born from a 1997 partnership between Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and Eduardo Guilisasti of Viña Concha y Toro, showcases Chile's Maipo Valley terroir. The 2015 blend—primarily Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère—presents a deep, opaque red. Aromas of ripe fruits mingle with floral hints, caramel, and graphite. On the palate, it’s balanced and rich, offering flavors of raspberry, blackcurrant, and black cherry with refined tannins and a silky, mineral finish.
